Oh, how I wish there were things I could remember about my own first 5 years! But having been a child, and now a parent, I think there are certain graces in the lack of memory of those years.
Ugh, yes, I always wanted (desperately) to be laid back, up for anything, effortlessly cool, but, alas, that’s not me. I am not chill either...but I am still somehow okay, most of the time.
Hahahah yay! I did this exactly once in Finland. I went for a sauna and then into a hole in the ice in a bikini. There is a photo of me in a bikini, in front of a sign that says beach, with dark skies and snow behind me 😅
