We are convinced

There is a space for Christian women in Perth's south east to create beautiful content that glorifies God. God made everything, he is beautiful, and the source of all beauty [1]. Scripture tells us to think about things that are true, honourable, just, pure, lovely, commendable, excellent, and praiseworthy [2]. It also warns against meditating on things that are false, dishonourable, unjust, ugly, impure, atrocious, and detestable [3].

With this in mind, The Sunday Morning Snuggle is a place for local Christian women to share beautiful, true, encouraging words and art that glorifies God. We aim to provide a different experience to your social media feed. A slow publication, it is released once a month, with submissions from people you actually know.

We are seeking…

Short stories, book reviews, essays, illustrations/cartoons, photography, and poetry. We do not accept click-bait, listicles, news stories, open letters, or sponsored content. All copy goes through an editing process in consultation with the writer. 

We are grateful for your interest in submitting a piece for consideration. We do not offer payment at this time.

Style 

  • Prose - essays should be 1200-1800 words long. 

Tone 

  • Prose - honest, vulnerable, like you are having coffee with a friend.
